A simulation, not set dressing
- Noise-field weather and a day/night clock change what spawns and how rooms read.
- Skills improve by use — swing a blade to get better with blades.
- Quests are storylets gated on world state, not a linear script.
- Permadeath: your carried gold spills as a grave and you wake at the last shrine.
- Banked gold and the deepest stratum you reached go on the public leaderboard.
